"tried tape pens couple of years ago and did not get on with them but these one's do seem to work much better, no unravelling of tape at all, agree with previous reviews would have got 5 stars if it was pointed out on air or on website 6 now equals the old 5 in how much tape you get, but still a good buy"

"I I bought these tape pens because they were post free and on special offer. I am sorry I fell for the sales talk. I have tried two so far and both "rolled" up after an inch or so of use, rendering them useless.Maybe there are two different qualities being made in view of some of the 5 star praises."

"These tape pens definately have a place in my crafty stash.
The design is very ergonomic making it comfortable to hold even though I have a condition which means gripping things for a long time can be rather painful - therefore, I would recommend these for anyone with dexterity problems (or similar).
I, like many crafters, have different glues and adhesives for different jobs - but these certainly deserve their place in my toolbox because they are great for matting and layering quickly.
They are a handy reach-to item when you are crafting in a rush and definately light weight enough to take in your craft bag when you are crafting out and about.
One very minor point - I do feel that it would be helpful to clearly indicate which way up to use it as I often get it upside down... the moulded logo on the side isn't adequate enough to indicate which way up it is - but as I said, that's a very minor point.
All in all - a product that I always want stock of in my toolbox."

"I purchased these tape pens a few weeks ago based on the reviews received thinking I would be able to get away from double-sided tape. However, I was wrong. The tape on the pens is not sticky enough and most of time the toppers on the cards I am making (including the Hunkydory ones) fall off and I end up in the end going back to using double-sided tape, which to be honest is unbeatable. Steer clear of this item."

"I like the tape pens easy to use, sticks well and are easy to store in your craft bag.
The only thing that i think lets them down, as crafters we are well known for not wasting anything, but when my tape pen is finished, I find it wrong to just throw the empty cartridge in the bin, but have to as they are not refillable, other than that i would recommend these pens to all crafters."

"Would not be without them - they are so quick and easy for matting and layering, and the adhesion is excellent. Yes, they are expensive, but the deal makes up for p & p (good to order when you have an already full basket). However, they save so much time that they are really worth it."

"I love these and use them every craft day! they are expensive though and seem to run out very quickly. Having said that, I do reorder them as I have found nothing as convenient or strong for matting card and paper"

"I have found after using these for first time they are too tacky and do not break off easily when rolling onto card or paper. Therefore end up with sticky residue over edge of card or even worse on other side of paper/card. Not good. Looks excellent value but disappointing performance. Would not buy again unless improved performance."

"I have brought many of these over the years and they are realy good, however I have in the past had a pack that has had one pen in that does not work, so what do you do well it costs too much to send back one pen. I throw it away because u cant use it. I still continue to buy the pens but I am thinking that the tape or sticky dotts may be better."

"have always used a branded tape pen from a high street store until recently when i decided to try these out. very impressed as these dont unravel like the branded ones have on me. just wish they lasted even longer as i am on last one now. well worth the money."

"These little tape pens are one of those go to essentials that I wouldn't be without. Quick and easy - I have never, in 2 years had one tangle, break or do anything but behave perfectly. I would thoroughly recommend stocking up - especially around deal times or when the basket is groaning and the P&P cap is reached!"

"I love these tape pens and use them regularly when crafting. They are great for going around curves and rounded corners and you can dispense a tiny amount or a large amount. I use it on thin paper to very thick card and some boards. One long strip of this tape is holding up all my Christmas cards on our Living-room door! I find it is a very strong adhesive. These little tape pens ended up being an important tool in making my wedding stationery and favours. I also use the tape on ribbon which I find to be a great way to adhere ribbon to cards. A great valued product and I highly recommend them. I would love to know if its possible to recycle the tape pens when they are empty though?"

"I have used this product for several years and I think that the quality has improved. I no longer seem to have problems with the tape coming off the rollers and with 6 in the pack they are now better value for money. I try to add them when I am ordering bigger items to save on the high cost of postage for a small item as I know they will always be used."

"I hadn't used tape pens before, but I found these very easy to use once I got the hang of them!
Even at 10m instead of 12m, these pens are much better value than other brands I have seen in the shops.
No mess, no fuss, and tape only where you need it - recommended!"

"Somewhat wary of buying six in one go but am so glad I did. Bought a 'well-known-brand' one whilst waiting for my order to arrive and it soon let me down, tape broke and mess everywhere. These are great, have used two (been very busy!) and no problems at all."
